APPRECIATION:
We sincerely want to appreciate God for His faithfulness towards us as a family. Indeed, we return all the glory to him. To our exceptional parents, we say thank you for believing in us, and to all the staff/ management of SFIS, we say thank you for your effort and commitment.
Midterm Exams and Break:
The midterm break commenced on Friday 25th and will end on Tuesday, the 28th of October 2024. Pupils will be resuming on that day.
Holliday project/ worksheet:
Holiday project, worksheets have been given to every pupil in the nursery section. Please ensure to get their projects completed before resumption. It is the role of the parents to help their children get unstuck in their homework. However, we encourage our parents to please not do the homework for their children but allow them to stretch their abilities as they engage with the homework. Active learning occurs when the child is involved in solving problems.
Feedback:
Parents are encouraged to relate with the school on any challenge or difficulty encountered by their child or any observation of any kind. This will help the learning process in general. You can also check up on your child’s progress report with the head. On resumption, marked test scripts will be issued for your perusal and comments.
Updates on our Activities:
On resumption, parents will be updated regularly on all activities in the classes, particularly the academic and extracurricular ones. Do well to watch us on the WhatsApp pages of our various classes. It is called collaboration, an essential 21st-century learning strategy. Don’t forget to make comments.
Fees Update:
Parents are encouraged to endeavour to pay their child’s fees in full to avoid sending our little lovely ones out of the class when learning is going on.
Handkerchief/ Hand-towels:
Nursery pupils must come to school armed with a handkerchief or a small towel for cleaning up after meals. This is compulsory and should be pinned on the child’s uniform carefully.
Dirty Uniforms:
It has come to the notice of the management that pupils come to school in untidy uniforms, and unkempt hairdos, and nails. This is not acceptable, and parents are encouraged to look into the appearance of their children when coming to school every day.
Water bottles and feeding utensils:
Parents are encouraged to regularly wash their wards/children’s water bottles with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly. We have observed pupils coming to school with drinking water in dirty water bottles. We don’t want our children coming up with stomach upset. Let’s be careful.
Thank you once again for believing in us. Your satisfaction is our priority. Feel free to walk in and share your ideas with us.
Thank you for your usual cooperation and support.
May God bless you all
Signed
Head
